I had entered into an agreement with Pikake Paahana of First Rate Credit services to remove 2 lates on my credit bureau files in May 2010. The contract specifically guarantees the items to be removed within 6 months and upfront payment of $1700 which I paid. Over 9 months have passed and nothing has been done. Upon contacting her for refund and requesting that she stops any and all future work as our contract had ended. Any work that she had done after contract date is fraud and identity theft. I had not authorized Pikake Paahana in any shape, form, orally or in writing to continue the work after our contract expired in 11/2010.

This person without my consent, has defrauded me and has stolen my identity after contract expired.  After contacting her and askiing her to refund the fees that I had paid as stipulated in the contract, she sent me an apology letter stating that I should give her additional 3 weeks to complete the work. She is a thief and a crook.

Sima Ashrafirad came to me for help clearing up mortgage lates on two loans that did occur, therefore valid. In the contract she signed it clearly stated that -"Client" understands that due to extenuating circumstances, it may be neccessary to dispute negative rating more than once. Therefore, contract completed date could be delayed, however client is still guaranteed removal of item/as per contract." Again, could be delays, however the end result is still the clearing of accounts guaranteed to be clear. Then I explained very clearly that we are at the mercy of 3 credit bureaus and there are alot of variables that go into the clearing of negative information. On Nov 15, 2010 I emailed her to let her know there were delays happening with the bureaus updating files but that I was doing all I can to get it done as soon as possible. As for stating "nothing had been done", I have at least 4 credit reports she herself fwd to me showing activity of disputes on those accounts. As for fraud, stolen identity, being a thief or crook that is grossly inaccurate and defaming. I have been helping people for 15 years get back on track with their credit and thousands of grateful clients. I realize in this industry you cannot make eveyone happy but I always try to work together to work these things out. But she chose to write these things about someone that actually helps people in this industry and many who have lost their home and need a second chance with their credit.
The last email I sent was to apoligize for delay from bureaus and that I received confirmation from bureaus that it would be clear in approx 3 weeks-never got a response back to that email. A week later I received email stating she had posted this complaint and that she would take it off if I refunded her money. To be clear, we do not refund money on work that has already been done and WILL be completed, however with the clients threats I have since put completion on hold as much as I had the power to, since work had already started months ago with each bureau. She can choose to get this cleared up and the final completion, which is what she came to us for to begin with.

There is legally NOTHING a Credit "Repair" Company can do that you can not do for yourself for free.

Some(and I don't know specifically about this company) will claim they have "contacts" inside of the Credit Reporting Agencies that can fix your credit, or that they used to work for them so they know what to do.  But what they generally do is attempt to use various "tricks" to get the negative information removed.  Do these "tricks" work sometimes..Yes.  But they probably fail just as much.  Then if the Credit Reporting Agencies catch on to what is going on they could consider your requests frivilous thus making any future disputes harder, whether or not they are legitimate.
