This company called me at my parent's phone number, when they had nothing to do with this debt. The thing is, the debt was already paid off! They did not check with the company that supposedly sent them my information. The person, named Ben, was sarcastic and demanded that I fax them the letter I received from the company that showed the account balance was zero. He would not listen to anything I said, nor did he want to. I contacted the company the debt came from, and told them to send their paid dog a bone.

This company apparently had my collections account in regards to my capital one credit card. i gave them a payment plan which was within my current budget. i knew that every month i would pay off 326.36 for 3 months so as to finish my debt of 700 dollars. The collection reps call every minute to remind you that you should pay off the debt within the specified period or they will press charges that you are not fulfilling your side of the bargain. the most irritating thing is that they bully you asking why your account is still not paid off and yet you show you make so much more. the continue to argue with you that the court fees are 1500 dollars so you better keep paying. as if thats not all they transfer you to very reps who is on duty that day just so that they can hurl insults and tell you to finish the debt.

capital one please get a collection agency that will work with your clients in debt and so as to come up with better relations both in communications and future lending in regards to your name.
