First Sun Solar Don or Donny Vick; SCAM ALERT: First Sun Solar, Don Vick, - took my $40k deposit for a solar array and disappeared! Tucson, Arizona
Back on July 7th, 2011 I entered in to a construction agreement with First Sun Solar, aka Don Vick. I tendered $5k check, plus gave him a free and clear 2009 Denali (at a mutually agreed upon value of $35,000. Since then, the only work he has provided me with was a proposed site plan, and painted some circles on the parking lot where the structure was to be built.
I called and emailed him many times since then asking for his cooperation in finishing the work they had agreed to. After numerous requests, I then hired legal counsel and threatened a Registrar of Contractor's complaint on his license.
After researching the status on his license, it was clear he has no such license and fraudulently used another General Contractors license in his place (Energy Source Electric, Inc.). I then contacted the owner of Energy Source and was told Vick had NO LEGAL right to enter into the contracts that Vick had me sign!
