Complaint Review: First Universal Mortgage LLC

My mother had been scammed by First Universal lending just recently. They called her and told her that they could lower her mortgage and Because she was desperate she did what they said and she also told them she was on disability and she cant afford much so they told her not to pay her mortgage for the next 3 months and pay them $300 a month for 3 months for a total of $900 and they will take care of her mortgage.

Wouldnt you know it she made her last $ 300 pymnt ot them on 3 February 2009 and they called her this morning and told her theres nothing they can do for her and when she asked for her money they told her goodluck getting it back and hung up. Is there anything we can do about this?
