following an ad in the Ontario automotive magazine "autotrader.ca" I got a call from a guy "Vince" who tried aggressively to persuade me to place my ad in his advertising website/magazine saying he has customers ready to pay right away for my vehicle. Then asked for payment information. I didn't give him any. One thing you should ponder twice is whom you give your credit card information. Never give them over the phone if you don't know the person.

This sounds like the a revised version of a company called autofinders.ca that ripped off hundreds of people across the country and they basically used the autotrader.ca as front for their business to find victims . The owner was also scamming people in the USA and was under federal endictment . Beware of any internet auto advertising. Use other means.... it does not work well... and use a reputable company. to sell your car. They tried to scam me as well. I got my money back but many lost their cash. Do not give your credit card number over the phone to anyone. It is a bad practice. Use "easy pay" only for credit cards. Look up companies first before you buy anything on this website "Rip Off Reports" it is the best thing you can do..

Even if you're on the national do-not-call list, you'll still be solicited. They have no respect for consumers, or even the law. Report their website to the FTC, if enough people do it - it will make a difference...
