Before doing business with FIRSTHANDTICKETS.COM (FIRST HAND TICKETS) read the following:

Where to start?  As a former employee for First Hand Tickets (www.firsthandtickets.com)  there are many alarming and unusual things that go on with this company.  Being sick and tired of seeing the terrible business ethics that go on at this place, it's only fair to know who you are REALLY dealing with when you give these guys your credit card #.

The first being, the two owners (Warren Schreiber & Vincent Grieco) are both ex-criminals in the stockfraud world.  ( CHECK OUT: http://www.nytimes.com/1999/09/03/business/ex-broker-faces-broader-federal-charges.html?pagewanted=1 )  Ripping people off millions of dollars 10 years ago, do you trust these guys?

Think again before you give a customer rep at FirstHandTickets.com your credit card number.  90% of the reps will say it is a "SECURE CREDIT CARD TRANSACTION", is it REALLY secure??  Nope.  90%, your credit card number is written down on a piece of yellow notepad paper with all of your personal billing information.  Where does that paper end up?  Left on a desk, carelessly thrown into a garbage can maybe a week later.  That's great news when the minimum wage cleaning crew comes in the office every night at 11PM to clean the office with tons of personal information laying around.  It gets better....those two criminals will hire anybody with arms and legs.  No backround checks, I've seen the low of the low in that place.  Why would backround checks be needed when dealing with hundreds of credit card numbers right????'

I had enough and left with no hard feelings.  All I am trying to get across is BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!!!!!! before giving these group of 5-6 guys your credit card information.

Have used FHT to buy tickets for concerts and sporting events for the last few years. I have never had an issue and always get the best deals out there -- cheaper than face and cheaper than StubHub. 

Customer service is always good. Had an issue once where tickets were sold to me after an employee told me that a game was sold out. Found out later that it wasn't and spoke to Warren personally who never charged me for the tickets.

First of all I would like to say one thing about  Warren Schreiber and Vincent Greico, these two have the biggest hearts and would give you the shirt off their back if needed.  Just because someone made a mistake in their past doesnt mean we should hold it against them.  For you as a ex employee to bring that up, you must've gotten fired.  They are trustworthy people who build relationships with people not rip them off.  I had the pleasure of working a superbowl with them and the only people who took down the credit card info where the ones who were trusted to do so.  I personally recommend them to my personal friends to by buy tickets.  To date quite a few of my friends and even my fiancee has bought tickets from them.  I guess the guy who wrote this orginally has never done any sort of sales previously, WHEN THINGS COME TO YOU ON THE FLY YOU HANDLE THEM ON THE FLY, which means if your in the middle of something and you get a sale, dont lose the sale write the important info down and get to where it needs to go, but above all else you DONT LOSE THE SALE! But that information stayed with the proper paperwork, up and until it was shredded.  First Hand Tickets is anything but a ripoff...they are family run(well those two are like brothers), corporation with a good sales team.  Just because your disgruntled dont make it hard for people who are doing good in this economy and are willing to pay you for the hard work you put in.

I have used First Hand Tickets from their inception. They have been extremely helpful in coming through with exactly what I want at the price I am willing to pay. YES, they have my credit card information on file and it has NEVER been misused in any way. There is NO reason to be placing any credence to the rantings of a disgruntled former employee, who perhaps has other reasons to be placing comments here. Low blows against the owner of the company make this obvious that there are personal issues here. Not a place for actual concern. Believe me this company is more above board and helpful than any other ticket broker I have ever used and I am very experienced in this arena. Have no fears, they will treat you right.

My name is Warren Schreiber. I am responding to this anonymous report from an apparent ex - employee. Why is it anonymous? Why isn't this gentleman / woman coming forward? Why attack my background and what merit does that have?

First Hand Tickets in Syosset NY has been in business for over a year and has somewhere around 5,000 customers and multiple transactions over this growth year. We have helped our clients get tickets around the globe from NY, to London to most recently the Olympics. In most instances we save our clients money over other online brokers. We are one of the few N.Y.S. Licensed Ticket Resellers with zero complaints.

Our Web Sites, www.firsthandtickets.com, www.americasticketcompany.com, www.nikkistickets.com and www.jonesbeachtheater.com are all secure. If you are uncomfortable giving us your information on the phone or via email we encourage you to use our sites.

Our hiring program is a 3 step process. When recruiting we get literally hundreds of calls. Everyone must send us a resume. We interview only those candidates we believe can help us grow. Each candidate must be interviewed at least twice and usually 3 times before we allow them to go through our 3 day training class. After hired we continue to train and weed out weak salepersons.
