Firstline Security & Security Associates International Would not let me leave the system with the new home owners Orem Utah
Besides the obvious lack of experience and professionalism, things went ok. When they were installing the system the tech forgot to put in the motion sensors, so we had to reschedule that...no big deal. The trouble for us started when we were just about ready to sell the house. We figured it wouldn't be a problem to just move over personal and billing info for the new owners and they would assume the remainder of the contract. SAI told us that is against their policy. They said they could move the system to our new house for a $100.00 fee and continue making the payments or we could leave the system and send them the new owners' payment info so they could be billed, but if they didnt make the payments we would get the collection notice and our credit would be screwed. Or we could pay the remaining balance of $1300.00 and leave the system but if the new owners wanted monitoring they would have agree to a 3 year commitment... I sat back and realized that I had just been screwed out of another $1300.00 and they were now trying for an agreement with the new owners. I'm so mad right now I can't think. I don't know what i'm going to do yet but I do know I'm not going to let them lure the new owners into a contract.
