I hired Fish Window Cleaning to clean my gutters and wash the exteriors of the windows on my home. The gutters had not been cleaned in a couple of years, so there were a lot of leaves hanging on the outside of the gutters -- an eyesore to say the least.
Imagine my surprise when I arrived home from work to discover that the leaves were still hanging on the gutters. When I called Fish to ask about it, I was told the leaves were baked on and needed to be power-washed off (thereby undoing the window washing). I asked several homeowners if gutter-cleaning was truly only the business end and not the cosmetic end. All told me Fish should have cleaned the leaves off as part of the service.
To satisfy my curiosity, I took a siding brush to the leaves. They came right off. Took me 10 minutes to do the areas of my house I could reach. So clearly, I'm not feeling too good about these guys wanting to charge me $150 to power wash the gutters plus another fee to re-wash the windows.
What a rip off. I will never do business with this company again.
