On Wednesday morning 3/22/06 @ 8:00, I ordered a "Hummingbird" portable depth finder from Fishfinder-Store.com. I paid an extra $50 to have it overnighted. I got it two days later (Friday).

The unit runs off of two 6 volt batteries. Although I had power from the batteries to the connector, the unit itself would not power up when connected.

I e-mailed Fishfinder about both of these issues and also called and left messages on Friday, the 24th and Monday, the 27th. I received an e-mail from them Wednesday telling me to send the unit back to "Hummingbird".

Although I responded by telephone and e-mail that I felt this was unacceptable, I got no reply. I have had to ship the unit to "Hummingbird" at my expense to have this matter corrected.

I feel that Fishfinder-Store should have allowed me to ship the unit back to them at their expense and sent another unit. His web-site boasts of customer service, but I have not seen it.

I did get an e-mail on March 30th, stating that they would re-imburse me the extra $50 for the overnight shipping.
