I also have a contract with Fitzone. The money is drafted directly from my account on the 15th of every month. Around the 20th of October I received a phone call from a service rep saying that I owed my dues, plus an additional service fee for "not paying." I told her that it comes out of my account automatically, she told me that Authorization was Revoked by my bank (Fifth Third). Since I didn't know why this would have happened, she suggested I go speak with my bank.

I have been going back and forth between Fitzone and the bank since then. Each time I talk with a Fitzone rep, they tell me a different explanation for my missing money, always blaming someone else. The problem is that on my bank statement, it clearly shows that the money was taken by Fitzone on the 15th, and never went back in my account after authorization was supposedly revoked. My bank's office manager tells me that I have proof that I've paid, and doesn't understand why they are being so relentless. It makes me so angry...

But, I have contacted the Better Business Bureau, and am now waiting for a response. Ridiculous.
Do not let them suck you in.

Being an representative of a biling center, I know that there has to be more to this service.

Allow me to explain....

Systems do sometimes make errors in which a automatic bank draft (EFT) will come back NSF. There very well may be sufficient funds in the account but due to an internal system error, it may read unavailable and the EFT will automatically reverse. That is sometimes the problem with our modern technology, IT MAKES MISTAKES JUST LIKE PEOPLE. If indeed, your bank statement shows that the money was sent to the company on the proposed billing date, all you have to do is correspond with the company via CERTIFIED MAIL. Situations as these cannot be taken care of via email or phone. It must be done CERTIFIED to provide the company with official and legitimate documentation. Follow these procedures and I guarantee you that if indeed your account funds were sufficient and this was just an error in the system it will be reversed. However I must advise you, if the billing comany attempted to collect and your bank refused the transaction, you will more than likely be charged the late fee and you will have to take that matter up with your financial institution as far as why they refused the transaction.

P.S. A membership to the Better Business Bureau is bought, not earned. In saying that I suggest that you call ABC Financial and seek to resolve the matter through a supervisor if you intend to rectify this matter. The BBB is going to be very minute in getting your problem solved. Good Luck.
