Five Brothers Default Management Demanded I Break the Law in Order to Get Paid Warren Michigan
I've been performing property inspections for Five Brothers for a few years. Very often, Five Brothers requests a "property occupancy verification". I disclose in all of my emails that I reside in a rural area and if there is a "no trespassing" sign, I will not risk my safety by going behind the sign. In my neck of the woods, you can get shot for violating the sign.
In about 50% of the oders I receive from Five Brothers, I am prohibited from accessing the property due to a "no trespassing" sign. I take pictues of the driveway/road, the sign, and send it to them; generally without an issue.
Now, Five Brothers tells me (and I quote) "You have reported this property as being posted as No Trespassing, however the integrity/occupancy of the property must be determined. If you feel that going beyond the No Trespassing sign would be a safety concern, please advise and we will reassign the inspection."
So, not only are they requesting I risk my personal safety, they are also requesting I break the law. If I don't break the law, I won't get paid. Did I mention, I have already visited the entrance to the subject property and taken photos? I have also entered all the report data (except for a verification of occupancy.
Beware! Do NOT accept orders from this company unless you are willing to compromise your personal safety and risk getting thrown in jail and being sued by a landowner!
