Complaint Review: Five Point Capital

All I can say is WOW! Five Point Capital is everything described  within these reports and then some. They lie cheat and steal from hardworking Americans. I have 2 leases with them, the first is coming due July 2012 and you guessed it, no $1 buyout like I was lead to believe. Same as so many others have reported. Melissa Colletti (account executive) verbally stated this was a $1 buyout lease same as a loan I would own the equipment at end of term (NOT).

Then just a little over a year later I was duped again by Freddy Cruz (account executive) I did not realize until later that year what had happened. They sent property taxes to the wrong township this is when I started doing some research and began to understand FPCs tactics as well as finding reports similar to mine. I contacted a Sheba Frost  (some sort of supervisor) what a gem,  I stated my complaints with her and all she could say is read your contract. Which yes that was my mistake as I  took a persons word (not no more). She stated she would email me my payoff information that was on or around 10-3-11 she never followed up.

Finally after calling and leaving voice messages with no reply on several occasions, I sent an email to customer service and low and behold I got a reply from Sandra Otero (portfolio manager) another gem, stating that she had gotten the request. After 10 days of back and forth messages I finally had all I could take and finally filed a complaint with the San Diego BBB today 2 weeks later I got a reply. They are not going to honor what they said in our initial dealings, but they are willing to waive the documentation fees on my next lease. Are they retarded? Who in their  right mind would think we could continue to do business after all of this? This reply came from Dave Gilbert (ceo) I dont know for sure but I think this is yet
another ceo. 

This company gets its well-trained friendly account executives to lure you into a great sounding program then they tend to drag their feet for a few days to create some drama then they send you the forms and state they need to have the
forms signed and overnight back in order to meet some deadline or in order to receive rates quoted. So in order to get things done I complied with trust. A person is only as good as their word and I have yet to speak with anyone from FPC that is worth the oxygen they consume.

 I have received at least two of their pre-approved cards a year since my initial deal. My wife is also getting them now. Also receive several calls a year from account executives wondering if Im in the market for more equipment. I have yet to have the same account executive call more than once. My second lease with Freddy Cruz, he stated it would be the same as my
first (again my mistake for trusting) but I had to resend all of my information financial and otherwise. They must not have any communication between departments.

 Five Point Capital is a complete fraud and you should avoid at all costs. They will not actually be handling your lease they are simply a middle man, and are only interested in sucking every last cent from you they can. I have sent a reply to the BBB stating FPC has done nothing to try and resolve my issues. The other thing I should mention is the fact that on 
at least 5 different occasions I have stated to Five Point Capital that I feel I was misled by them in regards to the $1 buyout, they have never responded to nor denied this statement, they just seem to act as though they did not see or hear
it.

 I will continue to update this with any new information. I do not expect any resolution on Five Point Capitals end. I will also be listing the names and positions of all representatives of FPC I have contact with. I do this in hopes of keeping this companys pour reputation high on the search list. I can only advise others to do the same. I cant believe there has not been any real follow up on a class action suit against them and can only hope this information gets to the right person/attorney. I have a lot of documentation via email which clearly shows how this company operates. I would be more than happy to share the information I have collected in an attempt to shut down Five Point Capital.
