Five Star Cleaning Stole, changed rates after completing job, over-charged, rip off Dundalk, Ontario
The use of this cleaning company was arranged by a real estate agent. They were to clean a 2 story chalet. The lower level had one small couch and nothing else. The upper level had 2 brand new couches and several brand new appliances.
The chalet required at MOST light vaccuming and some dusting. Not only did this company charge for FIVE hours of cleaning with a crew of TWO people, they changed the initial quote of $25 per hour to $50 an hour with the explanation that TWO people went on the job.
What is greatly disturbing is that a large SEALED bottle of Grey Goose Vodka 'disappeared'. The 'explanation' for that was that the crew took it to the 'dump' to dispose of it. Yeah right!!
They also charged $30 to remove garbage when all they had to do was drop it off in the bin at the foot of the driveway with provided tags (which they most likely did anyway).
This company is an obvious scam and I seriously doubt they are bonded/insured. Do NOT trust this company as they will steal from you then have the nerve to try and charge way over the agreed rate.
I would NOT recommend this company to ANYONE.

I talked to Helen Lighbody from Clairwood real estate in Kimberley, Ontario about this comment wrote about our company and she explained she was ripped off and not paid aswell for her services.

Hi, i had a few of my loyal customers mention that there was a complaint about our company. I didnt realized that this was on here from three years ago... We always strive to provide an excellent service to our customers.. Unfortunely
1.- I have not met you before.. you have a alias name and have had no communications wih you regarding the job
2. I had a verbal contract with a Real Estate agent that you were trying to list the house with
3.- I was never paid for my services from The real estate agent or you after completeing the assigned task
4- We are a manitenance company and deal with for closures ect all the time where they need cleaned and disposed of items properly that we were assigned to complete
5- We are all fully insured, bonded, and bondable with all police checks and fingerprints completed as well
6- Real estate agent was satisfied with our work we still have a working relationship and refered to new customers by her
