Fix Auto Tucson - Thoroughbred Physical Location 520-790-4946 Refused to give me an estimate Tucson Arizona
I made an appointment online to take my car to Fix Auto Tucson - Thoroughbred for an estimate after hitting a deer. I had been to 3 different collision shops and Fix Auto Tucson - Thoroughbred was my final one. To my surprise, I didn't get an estimate, unlike the other shops (all USAA Star Shops).
I totally understand the process that you go through with USAA, but I was told that unless I leave the car, I couldn't get an estimate. I was told they have to take the car apart completely to see what's needed. What? Once it's taken apart, I would have no choice but to let them repair it. That makes no sense.
I have professional photos of the car after the accident and everything needed to give me a bid, but NOPE, it just wasn't going to happen. I heard one of the people in the front office say that they were running 2-3 weeks behind schedule. This could be why I was treated with no respect at all.
I'm terribly upset about this and want everyone know! I didn't get a business card from their adjuster, so I don't know his name, he didn't introduce himself either. Shame on him for treating a potential customer with no respect! It was clear he wasn't interested in fixing my car!
I'm not happy about driving all the way to their shop for nothing. Plus, I took the time to schedule my appointment online so there would be no surprises. Silly me. I was treated like a complete moron because he didn't want to take the car in! I will never use that company again!
