On 02/15/2015 I ordered FixMyPCDoctor's PS3 repair + ezchill installation service, and spoke with Greg (supposed owner of the business) via email advising him that I was sending the unit in when I had the chance and that I was hoping there would be no problems. Greg assured me that if it was sent in ASAP, he could get to work on my system (as CECHA01 PS3) right away.

I sent the unit to him on 02/19/2015 with a prepaid shipping label, and I recieved a tracking number to confirm reciept of item. Greg emailed me on 02/23/2015 to advise me that the store has got busy and there may be a slight delay in getting work completed, assuring me that a little bit of waiting was better than rushing a service and offering a bad experience in return. He also said he'd keep an eye out on the package. On 02/28/2015 I recieved an automated email from fixmypcdoctor.com advising me that the unit had arrived, and setting the expectation that turnaround time was normally 1-2 days and that delays would be communicated.

Since then, I have sent several emails and even tried to call the business phone #, even leaving one voicemail before the 02/28/2015, and have not heard anything back from this guy since. Prior to this, going maybe 2 days without a response was normal (except over the Christmas period) so seeing him stop all communication full-stop is very disheartening.

I feel shamed and ripped off by Greg, someone I have been communicating with over the last 5 months expressing interest in his services, and being shown many great signs of amazing customer service. Had I known ahead of time that this would be going on, I would've used an alternative business and forgone the PS3 EZChill installation in favor of a standard repair. Knowing that a CECHA01 in good working order is a fairly expensive item to come across in working order makes me more upset, since finding a replacement unit in good shape will set me back even more money.

Be careful dealing with this business. Luckily I paid via PayPal credit, so I can raise a dispute for the online services which normally not disputable with PayPal. At least one good thing came out of this..

Will post any updates if they come along.
