I brought in a list of repairs needed on my 2003 VW Passat GLX - radio, horn, heated seats, brake light, HomeLink System, dashboard panel lights, and climate control (a/c and heat). Fladeboe Irvine VW stated it was the ABS module and brake light switch that was causing all of these problems and charged me $1188 for replacement of these items. Several days later, Fladeboe calls to tell me my car was ready and everything is working fine. I picked up my vehicle only to find out nothing had been fixed except for the horn! I was instructed to bring my car back in on the next business day. Fladeboe service dept then tells me it is the ECU unit and charged me over $800 to replace it. They call me days later to tell me that everything is working again. They lied. When I picked up my vehicle, NOTHING had been fixed and I noticed significant damage to the interior of my vehicle (Homelink system panel, passenger side seat, drivers side turn signal light). The service manager refused a refund and was very rude and unprofessional. The owner has not returned any of my phone calls or emails. On another note, I had to keep calling Fladeboe Irvine VW to check the status of my vehicle at the end of each day...at which time they told me, "Oh, it is not ready yet. Give me another day to work on it." I had no other choice but to rent a car for a total of 7 days! I've contacted the Better Business Bureau and Bureau of Automotive Repair. I will be taking Fladeboe Irvine to court for this.
