I contracted Jason Bower with Flagship Construction LLC on January 15th, 2018 to install a new vapour barrier and insulation in to my home I recently purchased.  The cost of his job was estimated at $5,000  After the work was completed I was supposed to receive photos of the completed work under the house, which I never received.

Fast forward to November 15th, 2018, not even a year has elapsed.....I was having some work done on my home where the Contractor needed to replace some insulation from the work he had been doing above the sub floor, so went under the home.  When he resurfaced, he asked if I would like new insulation and a vapour barrier installed.  I advised him I had just had it done 10 months ago, so he went back under the home and took photos and video.  Pictures speak a 1,000 words.  No new vapour barrier had ever been installed, for wh  The original 20+ years vapour barrier was left tattered, brittle and tearing in various places due to age.  I was charged $777 for a new vapour barrier.  The wrong insulation had been installed, it is too big for the 6" subfloor so it was ineffective in what it is supposed to be doing, besides the fact it is falling down and wicking water from the old / non-existing vapour barrier.  For this "professional job" I paid $4,766.73.
