SO, I opened a business and needed an ACH to process my credit card transactions.  Did some internet searches on reputable companies and Flagship came up high.  So, I contacted them and worked via Email with their sales rep to get things done.  Pretty easy - provided all the information they needed and - I was approved about a week or two later.  They advised me that instead of leasing the equipment, I had to purchase it.  A bit expensive on the outlay, but ok.  So, I purchased the equipment.  Equipment was tested and working.  About two weeks later, I tried to process a card and it came back "invalid merchant".  THe customer was right in front of me, so, embarassingly, I had to make other arrangements.  When I called the support number (after being on hold for about 10 mins and transferred a couple of times) I was told that my account was closed back on Monday due to 'something' that wasn't caught in the underwriting phase, but "I can't tell you what it is".  Ah, and now that you told me I was approved, then SOLD me your equipment, now you won't let me use it, and won't tell me why.  So, they got their sale, eq, and don't have to support it.  Also, didn't bother to tell me they closed my account.  Now, I can't tell anyone else NOT TO DO BUSINESS WITH FLAGSHIP MERCHANT SERVICES, but it sure looks like they appreciated my purchasing their equipment.  Awaiting a response from them, and will let you know what they say.
