Complaint Review: Flat Rate Movers LLC (aka Radio City Movers)

Our Daugher moved to Chicago from Atlanta.

Daughter's furniture has been picked up by Flat Rate Movers LLC on 10/22/11.  Per company's request she paid 60% of total bill with a money order.

Her furniture was supposed to be delivered on 10/29/11 at noon.  At 2:00p.m., our daughter started contacting to moving company.  After several hours she received a reply that the moving truck broke down and they are attempting to fix it.  Many more hours passed by and our daughter reached out to the moving company again.  She was told again that the movers have left and another team will finish the move.  Today, 10/31, she was told that her furniture is in storage at the below address.  She will be contacted later with the details.  Upon further inquiry, she was told that she might have to go and pick her furniture up herself.

There are many complaints on line about this company, as we learned after the fact.  Complaints are similar to the experiences we're going though.  It is unbelievable that this scamming company is still in business.
