Flawless Beauty & Skin Customer Service with Shipping Ocean Township New Jersey

Be warned of this very deceptive company. Worst Customer Service possible! They do not explain anything about shipping, taxes, fees, customs, etc! Taken from their website:

Shipping Policy 

This product will ship within 30 days from the time the order is processed. If you have any questions concerning the status of your order, please contact our customer service department. 

I have done business in the past with this company without any issues. I’ve always used the cheapest shipping (APC Postal Logistics) because there are no additional fees, taxes, customs, etc.

My recent order was sent by UPS and I did not request that shipper. The vendor refuses to take any responsibility in this matter when perhaps there was a system glitch in choosing the shipper., as I did not choose that option.

Why would I choose a more expensive shipper and/or a shipper noted for earlier problems? My letter fell on deaf ears with only a defensive response!

Nonetheless, the following information is provided:

On my latest shipment (1Z3E7F23DG95426100), UPS is requiring me to travel to the Customs office, which is a 6-hour drive; one way! They want me to provide my original passport, copy of my passport, copy of visa declarations, and pay the following fees – before they will even open the package: 

Clearance charges: $42, Terminal charges: $29, Warehouse charge: $13, Customs fee: $7, Amendment fee: $45, Duty on assessed value (40%) $158, Value Added Tax VAT (7%) $25. After 2 days, Storage charges $5 per day until the shipment can be released from customs. Commercial Transportation for this 12-hour trip estimated $200.   

It is estimated this $350 order will end up costing me an additional $525 whereas in the past the order would have been shipped to my home and no additional charges! Here is Flawless’s response:

To add insult to injury, here are the FACTS - Shipping a $350 order to my home - $37.67; return shipping $461.00 as per L\Jack Gindi's response.

You can’t make this up when you have factual documentation for support…
