Paid a statement in June 2000 with a change of address for the new address where I was having mail forwarded. Post office stopped forwarding mail as 1 year went by. Mail was being returned to sender, Fleet credit card still did not change my address. I now have Fleet reporting bad credit on my credit report, and I found this out while applying for a mortgage.

Rebuttal:
Regardless of whether or not you received a statement from fleet, it is your responsibility to make your payment every month. The customer service number is on the back of the card. If you didn't receive a statement you should have called them up and you could have paid it over the phone. It sounds like you only have yourself to blame.
