Complaint Review: Fleet Services Americorp Fleet Maintenance Services

Attempted repair of air valve on multiaxle trailer, suggested replacing 3 valves total promised job would be completed in time for scheduled pickup of superload. Stated 3 men would be on the job. There weren't. Did not happen - instead removed all valves and airlines at the same time, could not figure out how to reassemble the air system. Were given several scematics and still no success. Tried to "blame the victim " saying air system had been modified after leaving the factory. (It has NOT)
When it came time for repairs to be completed the trailer was not near ready and in fact it was another 8 hrs before they got it marginally operational. My driver did have knowledge of routing about half the airlines in question but was not allowed to show the mechanics where that portion hooked up, citing insurance issues. I ended up paying 2 escort vehicles + city police escorts for an entire day of no go. Not to mention a very unhappy customer holding a crane. When it came time to pay my bill I was informed "nothing in this world is free" and given no quarter.
