Flint Creek Wildlife Rehabilitation Barrington Illinois
My dog found a nest of bunnies in the back yard. She injured one and left the others in shock. I found Flint Creek Wildlife Rehabilitation online. I called the number and was given clear donation instructions but when I continued on trying to speak with someone I kept running into a recorded message that stated I must go through their website for assistance. I went to the website and again found a clear link for donations but no hours or address. The address I left in this post is a mailing address where donations are accepted. LOL The website went on to state that in order to bring in an animal I must first make an appointment by phone giving the same number I began with. I don't know about you but I wouldn't give these people $5. SMH

It is clear that Nicole was simply confused by our phone system. When you contact our organization, the outgoing message states that our website's Found an Animal section contains a wealth of information. It also provides the opportunity to follow prompts for an animal-related call. Perhaps she did not get to the point in the message where she would have heard the prompts.
She contacted us on Facebook and we responded back to her. We never heard from her again. Below is a copy of the exchange on Facebook:

Nicole "I tried to contact you via phone and received a recorded message which states one must visit your website in order to receive help. The website states that one must call for an appointment in order to receive help and gives the same number that refers callers to the website. How exactly does one get help for injured wild animals?"

Flint Creek Wildlife Rehabilitation "What is your situation?"
We would have been happy to help her but she never responded to us.
