Floam Aka Asseenontvnetwork.com Informercial Ripoff, "FLOAM" appealing to small children Terry Town New York
I ordered FLOAM on July 24th via internet for my small child and my niece after watching infommercial. I was a bit surprised that the order process in itself was a bit misleading and definately confusing creating a much larger cost than I originally intended but no cancellation or confirmation so a revision was an option.
I accepted that and awaited the order. Weeks pass, nothing. I sign on the web page and searched for a long time to find a customer service link or number. No email address came up and I dialed a long distance number and stayed on hold until I realized no one was picking up. I called back and selected the "leave a 5 second voice message" option but never got a returned call.
The address is a PO box and I am quite surprised that the Nickelodeon channel would feature an ad that provides on ordering capability and no customer service. My specific issue is no merchandise, no communication explaining any delays, and my credit card was charged over a hundred dollars for this magical silly-putty. And worse, two small girls are very dissappointed---shame on this company, and all the willing participants ( Nickelodeon channel and asseenontvnetwork.com) to dupe parents and small children.

The site is deceptive and shipping is blatantly false at 4.95. This is a pure and simple rip off and everyone should STAY AWAY. Customer service number DOES NOT WORK, there is no contact info for the company

I saw the ads and wondered about this goop...looks like a bunch of styrofoam beads in some easily made goo that you could probably look up a recipe for online and make it yourself.
I think after reading about this, I'm gonna do just that and cut open my old beanbag chair I was going to throw away. Gotta be better than paying outrageous prices for itty bitty "tubs" of that stuff.
HAND CRAFTED DO-IT YOURSELF stuff has got to be better than paying $20 for something that quite obviously cost less than a buck to make.

Well, I did finally receive my Floam order. I agree with some of the other reports on here about what you get for your money. If these are jumbo tubs, I'd hate to see the smaller sizes. The step by step guide is a little four inch fold out booklet with ideas on it. However, I did finally get the product after emailing them, and they only charged me once.

I, too, ordered Floam for my daughter. I placed my order on 8/31. Since I never received a confirmation, I sent them an email on 9/19 and received an answer from them on 9/23 saying that Floam is on backorder for six weeks and that I would be charged when it was shipped. After reading the reports here, I got really nervous and checked my bank account (I had used a Visa debit card). To date, no withdrawals have been made by them, so perhaps I'm okay. I'll DEFINITELY be keeping an eye on it! At any rate, if it helps, their email address is customerservice@thillco.com. Hope everything works out for all of us!!
