Complaint Review: Flooring Installation & Services Inc.

On 12/16/2016 my wife contact Home Advisors looking to hire a flooring installer to have laminate flooring installed in our home. A business by the name of Flooring Installation and Services came up as available in our area. A man by the name of Gabriel M Dominguez and his partner Michel Lujan contacted us and set an appointment to give us an estimate. The following day Mr. Dominguez came by with another guy, measured and gave us what appeared to be a fair estimate. My wife gave them $150 in cash along with a check for $300.  After waiting for them on several diferent dates, they never showed up to do the job and will not answer our calls. They would tell her that they were stuck in traffic, their van had broken down, or that they were on their way.  They never showed up and Home Advisors told us they couldn't do anything about this.

Moral of the story, do not give anyone a deposit to do a job.  They know where you live and where to find you.  You on the other hand, have no idea where they live nor where to find them.  Also, beware of using servies like Home Advisors that do not back up nor really do a through job at screening their "contractors.'

Where is Michel Lujan and Gabriel Dominguez?  Scamming other innocent, hard working people.
