Floors Direct and S & L Enterprises Took my Money & RAN! Called me a liar with proof in WRITING! FLOORS DIRECT don't give a d**n! Our Cut up ankles are "Living Proof!

"Floors Direct" directs you to use incompetent tile installers that ruined my floor. We had to take the tile out after they left as they cut the design off due to not measuring! Then they were to bring us more material after they ruined it and we paid a second time for it. We NEVER heard from the installers again!

We had to go and pay a 3rd time for the material!! The Corporate office didn't care that we never got our material or reimbursement they sided with the installers even though the installers left it in writing that we would get it along with finishing the thresholds in our house.

We had to walk over 4 inch high jagged metal through each doorway. My family got their ankles cut by going through these dangerous passages ways just to bedrooms & bathrooms. They NEVER came back. We are finishing our tile/marble job ourselves.

Our house was sabatoged!! Forget ever trying to find decent help in the state of Florida and especially from scum bag ripoffs like Heartless FLOORS DIRECT and S & L ENTERPRISES, aka "Steve & Larry Fine" who OBVIOUSLY have NO concept of CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY BOTH ARE PURE AND SIMPLE THEIVES!

The rebuttal from the owner is FULL of LIES. This owner was invited to our house but never came. He's plain not interested.

Since my first report in November, we did return unused tile in December, that we were told we could return for a refund at the end of the job.(I have that in writing.) Please remember we did not order this tile. It was ordered through an installer Floors Direct uses even though they say they are not connected.

They ordered way too much tile. So much that it had to be taken off our vehicle with a fork lift when we returned it. (Was there a plan to use the extra a another job site at our expense??)

We were told at that point from the manager, we would get a refund in the mail.

It never happened and we continued to call the store about it. Then the owner, Mike, called and stated he was not going to refund us and that he is the owner and has the right to do that!!!

(Please see his last lie-"Customer Service is always #1 in our business.")--You be the judge. So Mike where's my $400? You got the tile back and kept my money. There was NO TIME LIMIT given and we didn't have this tile for months as you stated.

WE had to finish the job ourselves because the installers lied stating they would be done in 6 days, but only did half the job in 6 days. We are working people and did the rest on weekends. (Hence the reason we hired someone to do it in the first place.)

As far as the few marble pieces go. Again your installers CUT IT WRONG,therefore we were short. There was NO DISCOLORATION as you mention, get the story straight. Again you didn't come to our house and this might have all made sense to you. It has for eveyone that's been to my house since! The installers agreed in writing at my house to replace the marble.

Mike your point about not being connected to the installers.....Why is your sales person the one who answers the installers phone? Why did the sales person come to my house with the installers? Why did the sales person tell me to use them off a sheet you had in the store? Sure looks muddied from my perspective. Your store stated if installers get one complaint you don't use them. Why do you still use them?

Your statement that I threatened the sales staff..Please explain. I stated I should report you to the Better Business Bureau. Is that a threat to you? (It's a RIGHT in America.)

You stated you wrote me a check for an extra carton of marble..Where is it? Your sales person overcharged me for my tile initially and you wrote me a check for a refund or have you forgotten? (Mind you, you wanted to send that in the mail too, I suppose I wouldn't have seen it either.)

No idea what your saying about contacting me and offering me money, and comments about a coupon are all baloney! Your just trying to look good here to the public. Want to look GOOD to the public?--- give me back my money for the returned tile. It's cheaper than advertising to overcome all this NEGATIVE word of mouth press you're getting!

Put your money where your mouth is, give me back my refund for the tile plain and simple.

We have tried ...but nothing is good enough!

#3REBUTTAL Owner of company

Ms. Bonnie...

We sold the customer ceramic tile and the customer had selected an Installer off of our recommended installer sheet. She contacted and set up all appointments with S&L Enterprises.

Floors Direct sells wholesale to the public and in no way, shape, or form is involved with the installation. Which it states very clearly on the bottom of the contract Ms. Bonnie signed with our company. She used a coupon discount for the dollar amount she purchased. She came up with an idea to have the installer put a marble tile design in the bathroom of her home.

She purchased the marble through another dealer in town, but then expected us to replace it when she bought the exact amount she needed and did not like the coloration in one of the peices????

We tried to explain the marble or the installation of the marble had nothing to do with Floors Direct at ALL! The Customer threatened the sales staff and owner of Floors Direct so the owner tried once again to make the customer happy and wrote a personal check to pay for the extra carton of marble. Ms. Bonnie is still trying her best to get a job that is going to cost her nothing. She then returned tiles months after the installation was complete, when our policy states returns must be completed within 30 days.

Trying to make her happy once again we have contacted her to pay her for the returned tiles, but she does not like the refund amount since she may no longer qualify for the coupon discount she had recieved because her total purchase falls below the required amount.

Please come in today and give us a chance to earn your business...Customer service is always # 1 in our business, everyday of the week!!!!
