Flora Nova - Scot Wedgeworth - Chad Redden Tuscaoloosa Alabama
I sent Scot Wedgeworth $1000 deposit in for Flora Nova to do the flowers for my wedding and they did not return any of my phone calls. I received a message in June saying that they were not going to be able to do the flowers for my wedding and that my check would be retunned in the next few weeks. I have still not heard back from them and have had to hire a lawyer so that I can try to get my money back. They havve disconnected all of their phones and are now doing business out of Alabama Weddings....Scot is the Art director.

I really don't understand why people use cash or check for deposits.
Unfortunately, you have no recourse.
Credit cards offer you protection. If the deal goes south, you pick up the phone and call your credit card company.
If the merchant doesn't accept credit cards, stay away from that merchant.
