My family and I arrived in Daytona 7/22 we were scheduled to stay at El Caribe. After arriving at El Caribe and checking the room we discovered it had bedbugs it was after hours around 11pm. so I could not request another location from FBD because they were closed. So I checked out and assumed the responsibility of finding lodging on my own. I only knew of 2 additional hotels that they dealt with which was Coral Sands and Holiday Inn. I checked Holiday Inn the were completely sold out so we ended up at Coral Sands. Upon check in I spoke with the receptionist and explained the problem he stated I would have to pay for the night which was $139. I asked him if he could hold my credit crad because Im sure FBD would work everything out in the morning he stated No. So I was charged for one night that morning at 9 am I went to FBD to explain what happened in which I was greeted by Lucy he informed me that I did everything right and that she would try to get everything straighten out in which she didn't. She stated this would be a manager issue in which Lisa who is the manager was not in and wouldn't be back until Sunday. Well Sunday morning I called FBD and there was no Lisa in sight they stated she was in church and would be in afterwards she was a no show. I returned back to Atlanta and called Monday and spoke with Lisa who stated she would not be refunded my 1 night stay because it was not authorized I told her could have stayed anywhere then besides the dump they put people in. FBD has bad practices and I followed all the necessary procedures with them and I wnat a full refund. I also emailed the owner who has to yet to respond. I look forward to having this problem resolved immediately. They are a terrible company and I would not recommend them to anyone.
