I have been unsuccessfully trying to stop automatic deduction from my personal checking account for Florida Combined Life (Blue Dental Choice Plus) since December 20, 2011 when I changed Medicare Health Plans for the coming year of 2012. I called this company and they were supposed to have mailed  a form for me to fill out as I do not have printer capability at home. I never received the form;  and I have called 3-4 more times regarding this issue, and they only have record of a conversation with me in Dec. 2011 (when I originally declared my intention to change dental plans in Jan. 2012) and Apr. 2012. I suppose it was in April that I finally got a rep who emailed me the form; I went to library and printed it; faxed to them and they stopped premium deduction effective 6/1/2012 and will not refund my previous premiums. I just spoke today with a representataive and then a supervisor who said I would not get any money back.  I asked for a refund which I did not get, and I just want other people to know that this was mishandled by their Customer Service Department in  a very serious way. I asked the supervisor "why in the world would I not fill in and mail a form to stop payments on a policy I dropped Jan. 1, 2012?" She said she was unable to help me with a refund. I really feel this was unfair and they should refund my premiums when they knew my intentions in Dec. of 2011 to drop their plan. Is there any help available with Florida Combined Life, Dental plan?  My husband is totally and permantently disabled with a brain injury and I do not have a lot of time to spend on paperwork. But I certainly would have filled ou and mailed in a change form in order to stop the payments. I have called at least twice that they do not have a record of. I told them I did not have printer capability to print a form, please mail it. I requested this every time that I called them. I feel that I was treated unfairly to the point of dishonesty. I told them I had to do something, maybe file a complaint with Better Business Bureau, which I did.  There was no action that could be taken by BBB, but they will list my complaint so that others can read it.  Florida Combined Life will not refund my money.  I feel I have been taken by this dental insurance plan.  Buyer, beware of Florida Combined Life.  The amount they took from me in unwanted dental ins. premiums was $67.29 per month Jan thru May 2012, totalling $336.45.
