Florida-Passport AKA Major Rip-Off, Will screw customer, Do not give them any information!, Can cause overdraft fees SAINT PETERSBURG Florida
I recieved a call on Dec. 23, 2005 about two vaction packages. I had 14 days to review one and 7 days to review the other(Florida-Pasport). The information package didn't arrive until the 6th of January 2006 4:00 PM, which just happend to be the date my checking account would be billed.
I called the 888# immediatly to cancel and only got an automated operator. Three days later (1-09-06) a $149.00 charge appears in my account. I call Florida-Passport and get an actual human on the line who assured me they will issue a refund check, but can do nothing about the overdraft fee I incured. He said there was no way I could prove the package arrived on the 6th.
He was right. I went to the post office to see about tracking this package with the barcode on it, but they said it was not possible. So now I will wait for a $149.00 check that takes seven days to process ,'yeah right' not the way these guys opporate, and take the overdraft up the whazoo.
