We purchased a time-share for $3983.00 on Wednesday, February 20, 2008; had three days to cancel, before midnight.Came back to Lake Wales to review all particulars in the privacy of our own quarters and decided we did not want this, after searching the internet.

Post office closed on Feb. 23 & 24. Drove to Ormond Beach, Feb. 25 at 7:30 am. Staff was rude & used profanity; said it was over the 3 days. Left office and drove to post office and sent certified mail, at 8:50am.
The certified letter was sent to: Florida Sport and Recreation Network, LLC,168 Towne Lake Pkwy., Woodstock, GA 30188; as per the agreement.

Requested they take the portfolio and breifcase and sign for receiving it, but a person named Philip, said he would throw it out on the road if we left it and not to return to the property or he would have us arrested.

Unless you as a customer have our organization mixed up with an organization that has about the same name. And agian contact me by email and I will walk you through the process so hopefully we can get this straightened out.

I am the new Quality Control Officer for Florida Sport and Recreation Network. I am writing this rebuttal to allow the person involved and individuals that review this report to know the truth and our policies and procedures.
1# We do not sell timeshare through Florida Sport and Recreation Network. So how this indivual came to the conclusion that this was a timeshare is beyond me. Our presentation itself explains numerous times that this is not a timeshare presentation. We do have an individual that handles timeshare resales for our members.
2# The policies and procedures are spelled out to the new member or customer numerous times throughout the final stages of the buyer going through all the final contracting. The new member walks out the door knowing exactly what needs to be done to cancel there purchase. Most people that try to cancel after the fact, most always complain because they new from the start about the 3 day rescission period. Most companies don't even offer this period. We do! We even make sure before the customer walks out the door that this is the right decision for their family and themselves. They also have numerous numbers to contact including the manager of the establishment that they purchased at.

The individual that wrote this complaint came to our establishment and started a raucous in our lobby and then tried to force his way into our presentation room during a presentation. The police had to be called and the Gentleman removed himself before the police arrived. We attempted to help the gentleman but he refused to calm down and allow us to figure out a way to help him.
We have since this incident have formed a new division of the company to assist customers and try to aleviate any problems that may occur including confusion or a misunderstanding of what they are purchasing.

could cancel within three days.

went to office-personel were rude and offensive.

we want our money back
