Complaint Review: Florida Technical College

Kind of disregards what you have read about this Lisa. She was sleeping with Alex and she has posted things on here before to defend FTC. They we caught many night in the parking lot in the back seat of the car.  Please disregard and not get off track here. This is about proven funds that FTC has stolen for many students and my wife and I have proof on how they have been doing it.
Again students please don't fall into to these false promises. Call me ASAP and get this thing taken care of.

Fellow students you need to get a hold of me quickly before time moves on and others are taken.

The tried to scam me out of over $900.00 and then I brought in the document I signed when I signed up. And at the end they told me I had nothing more coming I dug out the file and found they owe me over $900.00. I have copies here now that they gave them to me. My wife and I and Alex had a close door meeting where he back paddled his way and said that if that is what you was told and promise than I am a man of my word and I will give it to you. I am sure that many many just walk out of the aide office and took it with a grain of salt and never got all there money. Please guys for us and the future we need to set this straight now before they scam others. This is no lie and a lot of you know exactly what I am talking about. Please call me and get these people together and then we can get our Governor on the phone and he can peruse the matter. And now they say it is a courtesy to help us find a job not there obligation, thats not what they said in the interview and 90 somethng % placement they had, all lies

             In response to Ken and his crew bad mouthing Florida Technical College, I'm sorry you have had a bad experience I attended FTC in 2008 and recieved my diploma as a medical asst. I did my externship and proceeded on with my life went to work as an M.A the job didn't work out for me, devastated I had no clue what to do?
   When I started at FTC in 2007 they told me how the classes worked and the finacail aid that came along with attending a private technical college. I agreed when I signed the papers and at anytime could I quit that is why they have the monthly classes wich is better then going to a state or university that is what I liked about it!
I went back to the college in 2010 to complete my degree, both times I have had great instructors who taught from the curriculum and from their own hands on experience some of my instructors had a sense of humor and some did not however does it really matter. It is up to the individual to take what the know and learn and apply it to their life. FTC did state to me that they had a 98% job placemet score,however they did not state to me that they would find me a job. They have a new person in career services which I am very pleased with,because before when i started back for my degree FTC did not have a good placement in career services at all actually they have had 3 or 4 in that position since my attendence there. I have a degree in Medical Science /medical assistant I still don't have a job I'm certified now which you must be in order to have ajob anywhere according to HIPPA offices are being fined now . I also have extentsive background in the medical field.
  It just sounds like to me that you are a very angry man, please listen to me take a deep breath and study to get certified get your degree because that is what the doctors want because it cuts their malpractice in half. I don;t know what experience or how much education you do have but in this economy these days it really takes more then a 2 year degree. Alex is a good well rounded administrator it sounds like you are just angry and a lil prejudice in your article "just give it a chance" you could be a winner. I still havn't got a job I went to computer brush up classes and interview classes that have helped me a great deal. They didn't rip you off! You get out of what you put into it.
   So just try something new because nothing else has seemed to help you, take a deep breathe and have pride in where you got your education because if not no one will hire you if your bashing where you went to school get certified if your not already have a positive attitude and you will succeed but quit bashing the school there is a new career service lady she has been there a few months and she stands by her word her job is to help us seek employment not get the job for us
  I'm doing just as she tells me I'm taking the job leads and applying for the jobs. Meet with her if you haven't  and remember she can only help you, unlike some others that have worked there ! Good luck on your journey remember there are about 300 that are right there with your frustration!
