STATEMENT FROM FLORIDA WATER ANALYSIS:
This complaint came from a child of one of our customers. They are satisfied with their equipment. The problem we have on many occasions is children of older clients want the money of their parents, and when their parents spend money that has the potential to extend their lives, it infuriates them. If you start to think that someone else's money is now your money before it actually is, then I can see how you would be upset by them spending it. Is our equipment necessary? That is up to you. However, I am a firm believer and have been for 30 years. The water isn't getting better. And the older you are, the more it makes sense to protect yourself. Why would anyone want their parents to drink unfiltered tap water? Yuck. look up your water utility report by typing your utility name then report, or go to www.ewg.org/tap-water and enter your zip code. You will find some interesting things in there.
NOW TO THE ORIGINAL REPORT THAT WAS FILED
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Florida Water Analysis solicited my in-laws and sold them a $3,999.00 under sink water purification system. When I called the company they stated that Mom and Dad approved the purchase. At the ages of 86 and 87 they were lead to believe that they needed this system.
I found all of the paperwork and contracts from Florida Water Analysis and there was never any analysis or report of the condition of the water in this home. The association checks the Lee County water coming into the complex frequently to insure that it is safe for consumption.
When I spoke to the Company owner he was very arrogant and insisted that I know nothing about water quality.I requested that the water system be removed and some kind of a refund be given. He refused my request and siad he would send a technition out to confirm that the system works properly.
I will be posting signs throughout their community notifying all residents that Florida Water Analysis is in business to take advantage of seniors with scare tactics about Florida's poor water quality.

We get complaints from children of our customers every so often. It is no secret there are millions of senior citizens here in Florida, but are they less deserving of clean water than the rest of the population? See, I actually believe there are real concerns with the quality of water all over the world, not just in FT. Myers and the rest of the state. I am in this business because I know what is happening, and has been happening for years. It seems it is finally coming out that we have problems with our water. Flint Michigan is just the tip of the iceberg. Tap water anywhere in the US has chlorine in it. It is absorbed through your skin, and you breath it when you shower. IF you want to drink and bathe in water with oxidizers that are designed to break down everything in their path, that is your choice. But your parents chose differently. They wanted better water, and they paid for it with their money. Who are you? I have spoken to these nice folks and they seem pretty with it to me. Who are you to say they don't deserve quality water, better water? Especially when it is their money, not yours. My guess is the real reason you are so upset is they are spending your inheiritance, and that bothers you. So you lash out at us. Shame on you. I told my parents, who are also retired and aging, to spend their money. They earned it, what right do I have to tell them what to do with it? Do yourself a favor, check out www.ewg.org and look up the water in your area. Check to see how many chemicals you are OK with drinking, and letting your loved ones drink. Then get back to me. If you think the water is just fine, and that the government is "taking care of everything," then you have quite a bit to learn about life. You must take care of yourself. Nobody has as much interest in your protection as you do, with few exceptions. And one more thing, the older you get, the more suceptible you are to developing problems with your health. Besides the air we breath, water is the most important thing in our lives. The quality is just as important.
