Florida Water Testing Inc. Misrepresented air & water purification prpoducts, taking advantage of my elderly father Ripoff Clearwater Florida
Duped my 89-year old father into purchasing the 'Ultimate Water Conditioner' which @ $5,500.00 was way over priced for what was installed. Furthered the rip off by coercing my father into purchasing a 'Whole House Air Purification' @ $2,500.00. Upon inspection for this system, I could find no evidence of any item being installed whatsoever on either of the home air conditioning systems. When I contacted the company they offered to;
1) Remove the 'Whole House Air Purification' & made an appointment to do this 3 days later.
2) Refund in full the monies paid($2,500.00) for purchase price of this 'Whole House Air Purification' 7 days later.
3) Issue a $2,000.00 credit to the $5,500.00 on 'Ultimate Water Conditioner', this also was promised to be accomplished 7 days later.
16 days later absolutely none of this has been accomplished. I'm still waiting for the removal of the unit, the refund check & the credit issuance. To further add insult to injury, The 'Ultimate Water Conditioner' sprung a leak in the kitchen, resulting in 1/2" of water on the floor. Repeated calls to Florida Water Testing inc. to repair the leak were ignored. My father was without drinking water & ice for almost a week until it could be repaired by another party.
There was no perceived improvement in air quality nor in water quality within the house. I consider this not only a gross rip off, but also taking advantage of an elderly, impaired individual who just happens to be my father.

A son's job is to protect our aging parents from predators that inflate the prices of their products in order to take advantage. You make me sick! If I were you James, I would make a copy of Andrew's reply for the lawsuit when his company does not pay up. His father earned his money to make his life easier in his golden years, not for people like you to steal it.
After checking on the internet, I see that 5500 dollars is extremely pricey for any type of water conditioner, especially a residential device. Give the man a refund and learn a little customer service. Your attitude reflects on your company.

Ive seen some crazy things in my years, but none come close to the un-educated, not knowing what they are talking about people from know it all ville, I mean stuart. I have many people that have been referred by the MAYO CLINIC. ( maybe you should look that one up) to get what your father purchased. It makes me sick when a child, I mean Son, get's involved in something he shouldn't. The last time I checked, He earned the money through the years to get what EVER he wanted....
If half of the people in this country realized just one thing.. Nothing cheap is ever good and nothing good is ever cheap.. It's been my experience that the children get involved with there chest's sticking out like they major in everything in life. They want one thing.... the money.. I went to a couple's house and they were in their 70's. The Mayo Clinic actually recommened a UV light, Conditioner, "5" stage R.o. (which stands for Reverse Osmosis but you probably already new that), and whole house Uv. Go to a hospital and ask if the water they use to operate on people is water with a bunch of chemicals in it. I don't care how much it would cost for my father and mother to have clean air and water.. I would want that for them. You probably buy cheap things anyway, that's why you think and do the things you do. It's not your fault. I have people in there 90's who insist on INVESTING GOOD EQUIPMENT FOR THEIR EVERYDAY WATER NEEDS. See, Toyota is not hurting in ANY way what so ever. You don't see them begging for money to save them. We carry Lexas and Toyota quality equipment. Your FATHER made a good decision. His, well what ever got in the way. Some day I'll understand the thinking behind those who think they know it all. Hey, I forgot, all retail stores and restaurants, grocery stores, car dealerships, gas stations, well the list goes on and on, are over priced. It's called mark up. Would you work for free????? Maybe you do. People who have no idea what they are talking about make me sick.
