Complaint Review: Flowers With Gifted Elegance

I bought 12 "bluegirl" roses, also known as hybrid tea roses over the phone. These are my girfriend's favorite flowers. I choose this company simply because they told me that they had them. Instead I recieved 12 ugly magenta roses that did not have tailored petals and shriveled within two days.

I left upwards of 15 messages over a three week period with my girlfriend also making numerous inquiries. Not only did I pay an exorbitant rate of $88.00, but I suspect they may have withdrawn more. I also now fear what these crooked con artists will now do with my information.

This company does not have a customer service department, just an answering machine. The only way to reach a person is to talk to a sales person. When my girlfriend finally talked to a "manager" (interchangable with godfather) she was blamed for the problem!! She also talked to a sales person that recomended (in a hushed tone) that she google the name of the company. In order to find out what was really going down, unbelievable..

It uses the first name of the city folled by the word "florist". Many times there is just a zipcode following it. The Cheektowaga NY phone number is 686-1178, I know it now by heart. If you are ever ording flowers and you get a message that starts with "thank you for calling Flowers with gifted Elegance.." HANG UP!
