Complaint Review: Fluent

Fluent - Fluent USA Customers* Over promised, under delivered. Their "turn it on, turn it off" sales pitch duped me out of A LOT of money! Deerfield Beach Florida

I was sold a product I did not receive. Throughout the whole sales process it was told to me,All you need to do is go into your Google account and turn it on. Wait until you mailbox fills up, then turn it off. You're in control.

The sold me on the notion that they were experts and I was going to busier than I could handle. Of course in their contract it says nothing of the sort, so the sales pitch is just to hook you so watch out! Their entire sales pitch was complete fluff.

My sales person stated that there were a certain number of active searches for my product within my area each day on Google. And on average those would lead to a percentage of clicks on my ad. Of those clicks I would get a percentage of leads, then it would be up to me to make the sale!

They told me 3-5 weeks for completion, it took 7. Then when I asked why it wasn't getting traffic right away even after I raised my CPC MUCH higher than they had projected with their research. They told me to wait. They told me they would have an expert review my campaign. Then told me to wait. They told me my area was too small, eventhough it was a main concern I brought up several times during the sales pitch.
Granted, it's only 2 weeks time, but the ads are showingjust not performing. Plus I had already waited an extra 2 weeks beyond their latest finish time of 5 weeks.

I got tired of waiting. I got a bunch of impressions, which only means the keywords are being searched and my CPC is high enough that the ads show on page 1 of Google. A total of over 2,000 impressions and only FIVE clicks where are those averages now.

I'm in discussions with Marti Jaskolka right now to cancel my campaign and get my money back. The last thing she said to me was, oh wait nothing, she hung up on me.

Please stay away from Fluent. There are better companies out there.
