THIS COMPANY SENT A LETTER ATTEMPTING TO COLLECT A DEBT THAT IS BEYOND THE STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS, THEY ALSO HAVE APPEARED ON MY CREDIT REPORT AS PINNACLE CREDIT SERVICES. THEY SAY THEY WILL ACCEPT A LESSER AMOUNT THAN WHAT THEY CLAIM IS OWED.

The only recourse you have, and the only thing they will understand is a lawsuit.
If they put a negative on your credit report more than 7 years from the date of initial major delinquency, you have a slam dunk FCRA lawsuit.
Also go to ftc.gov and file a complaint on them online. It takes about 3 minutes to do this. But understand, the FTC does NOT do individual enforcement.
The ONLY way to get justice is through the court system.
Stay off the phone. Never speak to any third party debt collector on the phone. Do everything in writing, and by certified mail, return reciept requested. Do not sign any letters going to any bottomfeeder.

Also, by the means above, send disputes to each affected credit bureau.
Have fun with these morons, and then make them pay!
