Unauthorized work

You performed work that was unauthorized. You went out to a job site with an understanding that you were to send us a quote. At no time was any quote sent. We later, within a week after we sent you out, sent an invoice. Knowing that some people utilize "invoices" when quoting, we called and asked if it was an actual invoice, or a quote. You stated it was an actual invoice and not a quote. At that time, we spoke to the chain you're speaking to about getting it pushed through as NO ONE signed off on you actually doing the work.
Later, you contacted the chain directly and they informed you of the same thing. You were not authorized to do the work... At no time did anyone sign off on the work performed, at no time did you receive authorization from us, or the chain to perform the work, and at no time was there any communication asking for authorization. The paperwork clearly stated that you were authorized, for up to $250.00 to investigate and quote. Fix any issues while on site for that amount. Both we and the chain asked for proof of signature, or other indication that you had authorization to perform the work. You could produce neither.
