Don't be tricked...when it sounds too good to be true it is!  I was suckered by an online advertisement for a free 15 day trial of Intelligex as part of an advertisement promoting what great success famous people were having with this supliment improving their mental functions.  I figured for the $5.99 shipping that this would be worth checking out, but boy was I wrong!

After entering my credit card information I was prompted to confirm my order which also listed a product called Amped Energy for some hundreds of dollars per bottle.  The order summary noted that if I did not want to purchase the Amped Energy bottle as well, all I had to do was deselect it from the tick box, however everytime I tried to click it off, it was added right back on when trying to proceed to check-out.  I abandoned my order without checking out, hoping that would be the end of it, but fearing I might recieve both pills.

Sure enough, two weeks later the pills arrived in the mail and when I tried to contact Focus Nutra to enquire how to return the product and avoid charges, I was told it was too late...the fine print apparently says that the full amount is charged after your "free trial" period of 14 days from time of order placement.  By the time I received my product, the free trial period was over and I was expected to pay full price, not only for the Intelligex, but also for the 'companion product' Amped Energy which I was told was non-refundable anyway.  (returning the product unopened is not "an acceptable way" of getting your money back)

The woman with a strong accent that took my call was kind enough to finally offer me the "maximum employee discount" she could of $50 US.  I guess all I can do now is wiat for my credit card statement and see how much this "free trial" will cost me....
