Complaint Review: The Foggy Dog

We ordered a few collars, pet tags and bandanas for oue dog using The Foggy Dog. We texted online through instagram asking if their collars gold clasp, and their gold pet tags would tarnish? The rep handling The Foggy Dog Instagram account told us the gold will not tarnish and/or scratch. They use a " luxe metal hardware", however, after we ordered a few items we used it on our dog and within 2 days of regular playing inside and walking outside the collars and tags were scratched and looked horrible. I mean we paid $32 for each collar and $20 for the pet tags.We emailed since their phone number is not in business and they are not accepting calls. Who does this? Not a REAL COMPANY! I emailed requesting an exchange or at least a refund. Oh my God - their emails went back and forth for weeks and did not offer a resolution at all. It left us with these scratched, ugly The Foggy Dog items which we do not recommend anyone to buy. The owner, Rose Shattuck, runs a scam! It is a FRAUD.It is a fraud when you mislead your customers into buying items your employees "guarantee" will not scratch, fade or tarnish. It is a rip off! The Foggy Dog RIP OFFS customers. Their gold zinc alloy materials are used across on collars, buckles and pet tags. They can not offer a resolution nor a solution. Rose Shattuck is a fraud as is The Foggy Dog. Scam Beware!
