Foil Moving Services, Arizona Discount Movers Sneaky Snakes in my home Phoenix , Arizona
When I first contacted this moving company I asked how much the move would cost. They quoted me a one time travel fee then total of around 6 or 7 hundred dollars and it would be a 1 day job for a 1500 + sq ft. 3 bedroom house, plus some items outdoors and in shed. They claimed they could do it all.
They said they had a large enough truck to get all our belongings into it and moved out and to the new address in 1 day. When they arrived the truck was smaller than we expected and only two movers. I called the so called manager to ask about the truck and only two movers and when I called the number an and other times I called, I got a different person, but, they would always put me on hold and I would get who sounded like the same person I talked to originally only his name was different. When they answered the phone they always gave their name, Larry, Bob, or William and I never knew for sure who I was really talking to but I was most sternly corrected when I told the so called manager that I did not trust his movers. He was emphatic that one was a workaholic and the other went to church every Sunday.
The truck was loaded to so called capacity yet they had not gotten even half our belongings into it. I know better, that truck may not have been a semi but it could hold more than they put into it, and the first days work cost around $1300.00. Shocked as I was, I still blindly gave them a check. The next day they got even less on the truck and we still had much more to load. That day I went to get the mail from my roadside mail box and glanced, on purpose, at the contents of the truck. It was a cab over but supposedly full, there was nothing in the space over the cab. I could see that clearly, even though one of the guys tried to hide it by standing in the truck in a gap I could see through to the back of the truck. The truck was loaded from the middle out and though I could not see for sure, I don't think there was anything behind that.
They apologized that they were sorry that they could not get it all on the second day so after I paid them around $700.00 more, they said they would be nice and give us a discount for the last day of $600.00. We said NO, and after they left we put a stop pay on the larger check. It had been in dispute for several months.
We are now noticing as we unpack that things are missing. My husbands large gold nugget ring with 6 small diamonds and 2 larger CZ's was missing.
Much more is being unpacked yet and more is missing. We keep hoping it will be in the next box, but my husbands heart is broken because of the theft of his ring and there can be no other explanation for its disappearance. I hid the ring in his dresser, in a box and wrapped in clothes and folded neatly in the drawer like the rest of the clothes
These people are nothing but sneaky snakes. I recall several times going to a room to see the results of something being moved and I was asked by the other mover to look over something or asked some question or something to get my attention away from the other mover and into a different room.
The ring is one of a kind. My husband had it made to his specifications by a jeweler in our home town who drew up the nugget as a ring and drew where the diamonds would be placed. If anyone sees or is sold a large golden nugget ring with 6 small diamonds and two or 3 large CZ. This is a stolen ring and we would appreciate help in tracing where this ring was sold or pawned and by who.
These people are nothing but crooks and I was foolish to trust smooth talking snakes like them. It makes it hard for honest people who do the same work to make a living because they are not trusted and they have done nothing to deserve the mistrust other than because of cruds like Arizona Discount Movers.
