Complaint Review: Folake African Hair Braiding

I called this female, made an appointment and explained to her over the phone I only wanted HER in my head, no one else. I get there and she has an American that she claims she has trained in my head despite my protest. I look at the work and it is horrible, so I called the police after all they had been smoking weed and everything else in the shop so naturally I was all but ready to the police. When the officers got there they took a look at what the american had done and what Folake (the nigerian) had done and agreed that my hair was a MESS. So I didn't have to pay but that was no good because I had a party to go to that night and needed it done like ASAP!!!!!!!!! So Folake finished my hair and I left and yes I paid her because what goes around comes around. FYI I've been getting my braids done by one african for YEARS literally so when I tell you I'm a pro at having africans in my head...I am. So I'm not prejudice I've just never known for american to braid like africans and I've been getting them to do my hair for about 7 yrs straight. Take my advice if you meet an african from Nigeria RUN LIKE HELL they will mess up and pull out your hair. Ivory coast braiders are the best!!
