Complaint Review: Foo Lu chinese shar pei kennels

I purchased Zeus from them 3 years ago with a full health clearance . I recently lost my very lived shar pei due to kidney failure. It came on fast and symptoms were not apparent till the end. He vomited all night , joints swollen , painful and began to weep. Vet was advised and Zeus was brought to get first thing in am. Antibiotics , xrays, steroids, iv fluids and a night stay at the vet and the next morning I received a call that he passed away.

It has been just under a month and I have not yet stopped or even closely begun to slow down my grieving . I just want him back. I'm a 100% disabled Veteran who relied on him for companionship to help my depression. I lost everything too soon. I saw other reports on this web site never realizing that before getting vzeus there were health reports filed. I never regret recieving Zeus. But he became so sick that doctors couldn't even save him.

I bring my animals to the vets for shots and any concern of mine. Also yearly physicals. This possible genetic disease that runs in the breed from this kennel is cunning. I can't say not to buy from them if they are still breeding but beware. I wanted to compile a small report since there were others. He was a healthy happy boy. I now have him in ashes on my mantel. That's what I have left of him. And some photos. I pray to God that I grieve healthy and I start to accept his death.
