Complaint Review: Food Lovers

I purchased this weight loss system in December, 2011 and was told that I would be able to return it if it did not provide me with miraculous weight loss in 6 weeks.

I did not lose weight.  In fact, I gained almost 8 pounds and had to be hospitalized for a heart attack at Christmas.

I attempted to reach the company several times (once a week for 6 weeks starting December 29th, after my doctor told me not to use the program and was put on hold each time.

I finally reached a customer service representative on March 6th, 2012 and was told that it was too late and there was no way they would refund my purchase.

The promises of "nothing to lose" and a "money-back" guarantee are useless if the company makes it impossible to return the merchandise.
