I was referred to this dealer from my sister-in-law who drove off their lot in a new 2006 Nissan Sentra, with NO verification of employment or paperwork that is necessary to bind in a contract. My sister-in-law put down $1,000 on the vehicle and post dated two checks for $500 each to be deposited the following two months, for a total of $2,000 down. Foothill Nissan informed her that she needed to fax all her verification and documents the following day, which she did. Meanwhile she drove off the lot on $1000 and only a copy of her drivers license. My sister-in-law makes $10.43 an hour and has extremley bad credit (below 300 FICO). I made an appointment with this dealership on September 12, 2006 for Sunday, September 17, 2006 @ 9am. First, my impression of the dealership was not good (small and old and limited inventory), Second; the dealership did not open until 10am so I had to wait an hour for my scheduled 9am appt. Third, the person I scheduled the appointment with was not there, so I spoke with another salesperson. This salesperson did not have my information that I submitted earlier in the week, like my credit approval paperwork that I had submitted to them Online, and other documents. I had to fill out new paperwork. I was then told I was denied credit approval. First I was approved, then I wasn't. Keep in mind, I make around $67K a year with average credit and NO BILLS. Foothill Nissan would NOT work with me, but yet let my sister-in-law drive off the lot with very poor credit and barely any income. Foothill Nissan tried to sell me a used car, but at this point I wanted nothing to do with this dealership. This dealership has false advertising and are not consistant in the way they handle the public. If it's too good to be true, it usually is, an din this case it WAS. A long drive from Newport Beach to La Crescenta was a waste of gas and time. Later that evening, I drove off with my Nissan from Irvine Nissan!

I'm not gonna go into detail on how full of crap you are but you truly are... I worked there for many years and never once has anyone driven off with a small down payment and copy of drivers license, just not possible especially with her bad credit. Someone with teir 1 credit (credit score 720+) couldn't even do that.. And never once in the history of foothill Nissan which has traded ownership hands several times has never opened after 9am even. There's way too many holes in this guys bull crap story it's sad... You didn't get the car you wanted at the price you wanted, no big deal just get over it.
