Complaint Review: Ford Credit

My husband and I purchased a used vehicle back in August 2000 and in August of this year the 60-month term was up. Unfortunately because of things in life we were late for maybe 3 or 4 months but for the first 6 months all payments were made on time. After having that slump we have made the payments on time because we did not want to have our credit damaged any further. So I made my last payment in August and then they tell me that I still need to pay until November because of all the late payments I made. So I sent the payments. I called Ford Credit around the beginning/middle of november to make sure everything was fine so they could send me the title. The agent I spoke to told me about three times that indeed November was the last month to make the payment (which I did) and that they would send me the title and the rest of the paperwork soon. Now I find out I still owe 800.00 and have not received anything in the mail. The say that the last payment has not been received and that they will send me to collections, even though on my on-line account it says that the payment has been received on time. I can't get to speak a descent agent, they all have treated me rudely and I'm really tired of paying more when I have already paid for 60 months.
