RE: Ford Crown Victoria - intake Manifold Defects - there have been recalls, but not this consumer's car

Ford Crown Victoria Intake Manifold Defect

I would like to let people know their is a Manufacture problem with the intake Manifold on the Crown Victoria's Their have been three vin # that have been recalled which I think are Police Cars.

It happened to my Crown Victoria which is a 1996 The tow truck driver In Arizona that towed my car said if it is leaking on top of the manifold that any that he had towed had melted the Plastic manifold.

After we returned to west Covina I called Ford they told me their was nothing that could be done because their had been no recalls on my car. I have Tried to contact the New Media on this matter Such as A.B.C. ,N.BC. ,C.B.S. ,FOX. with no results.

I also wrote to the national transportation dept with no results. So If you have had any problem with your car intake manifold Contact Ford also The news media It not right That we have to pay for a manufacture defect.

The new Manifold the front part in now made out of medal so does that tell you they know their a problem or not. I was Lucky that I still had the extended warranty which Paid most of my bill Which was $940.47 I paid $313.47.

I meet a Mr. Avolio's which has had the same Problem that I Had. He had his repaired at a privet garage they told him they couldn't do anything because it wasn't done at Ford.

I had Mine done at Ford In Arizona and they told me they couldn't do anything So do you think their A problem here are not.

I also found out that some other ford V 8 engines also has had the same thing happen to Them.

I trust that the Great Thorn is genuine in his attempt to help others. We will see if my problems and others are resolved.

My experience with Ford has led me to believe, they don't care about building good products.

Bill Clay Ford has much to learn about serving his country.Henry Ford would Be turning over in his Grave the way Bill Ford is Handling Ouality Problems.
