I have a 1999 Ford F150 that was tuned up for the first time.

It took two days to remove the spark plugs and from what I've been told this is very common. That if Ford didn't Advertise not to tune up until 100,000 miles the plugs would probley not be so difficult to remove. My though is that they know what the problem is and want it to not happen while under warrenty. What a way to sell new engens. To validate what I was told I spoke with Three Ford Dealer ships They all offered to trade me trucks and said that it was not un commond that this happens

In addision to the story. After having my 1999 F150 tuned up one of the plugs blew out and I was inform that there was a Ford directive not to sleeve the plug holes that it would not work.

That only new heads would solve this problem. Thats a diffrence of 2500.00 dollars. It seems to me if they know that this is a problem that they should do something about it.
