Ford Motor Co 2008 F150-491 miles, engine blew up, think they should refund or replace vehicle! Dearborn, Michigan
I bought a new 2008 ford F150 pick-up in pa, was driving home and had engine failure, it is a limited production vehicle. A saleen supercharged harley davidson edition (msrp $50,515) they ordered a new engine, but 30 years down the road it won't have # matching motor, is
there any way to make them refund money or replace vehicle? It has 491mi on it, i drove it 406mi before it quit!
The dealer had me call customer service to ask about providing a rental car, or motel reimbursment, because i was close to 900 miles from home! The girl i talked to said my customer rep was gone that day, but to go ahead and get a rental car and motel until they got it fixed, keep the reciepts, fax them in and they would review them!!! How's that for service!!! I think they should have to refund my money or replace the vehicle!!!

Isn't the warranty supposed to be by Saleen instead of Ford? I know it's built around the F-150 but what you purchased was a Saleen. I'm assuming that you purchased an S331 (either supercab or supercrew cab.)
