Dear Ripoff report,

Is it possible to gain the attention of the "Great Thorn" in order to resolve a serious issue. I'm a disabled American Veteran who trusted Ford Motor Company to provide me with a quality truck.

As a result, this truck has a defective engine that Ford will not replace! Further, the springs in the rear are very noisy. The Executives at Ford are not helping me.

This truck has only 17K miles on it! It may fail me soon. I depend on this vehicle to get me to the VA hospital for treatment. I'm suffering service-connnected injuries and need a dependable truck.

My experience with Ford has led me to believe, they don't care about building good products. Bill Clay Ford has much to learn about serving his country. Perhaps he must learn from some Veterans who are in my situation. Yes, this Marine has been in places people do not want to know about and courage, commitment, and valor are words that are in my blood.

I trust that the Great Thorn is genuine in his attempt to help others. We will see if my problems and others are resolved.

The Veteran Community is very tight. We hope all of you out there sleep well while "we" the American fighting men and women stand watch on many fronts and die so you can be on-line. The price of freedom is very high, and trust is like a glass of water, spill it and your nothing. You can't get the water back in the glass.

So, Do not soil that trust with scams or promises you can't deliver.

You have the ball Mr. Great Thorn, and if your quest to help is indeed genuine, and your very wealthy, well, this should be easy for you! Semper Fidelis and good luck helping me and others. Thanks from the Veteran Community.

I bought my Ford F150 new in 2002. I have had nothing but problems with this new vehicle. The Ford company in the city I bought it from which is the closest to my home has tried to help but have not gone above and beyond to keep me as a customer. I have dealt with many companies in this city and they are on the bottom of my list as far as making sure I am a satisfied customer. I have always owned Ford trucks but this one I guarantee is a lemon.

The first problem started last fall. The problem finally got resolved in February.

The second problem left my wife and I stranded and they couldn't find the problem. My wife found the problem and they did fix it. Now the lights on the dashboard are going off and on when they feel like it.

I don't dare take it back to them because the car they gave us as a loaner didn't have a radio. It was the dead of winter and they had no snow tires on it and sometimes we had to find our own transportation while they fixed our truck. It was a little Ford Aspire.

My wife has to have dependable transportation as she has an illness that requires she have a dependable vehicle to get her to the hospital or doctor when need be.

I am now in the process of looking at purchasing a 2005 GMC or Dodge pickup for myself and a Grand Prix for the wife.

I think Ford has just gotten so big that it doesn't matter if they lose a customer here and there. It's really too bad because a few here and few there won't keep them big for long..
Thanks for your time and attention.

Sincerely,
